East Carolina suffered several injuries last week to their already pourous defense. They average giving up 37 ppg with their first string. Navy avg 4.8 yd per carry, while ECU gives up 4.5. Look for Navy to control the tempo and the clock. Navy's HC Niumatalolo, hasn't lost BB games since early in 2008.
Navy is 30-5 ATS as a road dog versus an opponent off a SU loss,
including 17-1 ATS from Game 6 out.
The kicker........ ECU is 1-12 as home chalk vs > .600 opponents.
In other words, they don't do very well against good teams when favored. One thing about betting on the academies....you may win or lose, but you can always expect an all-out effort from them. Making this one a big play for me, with a touch on the ML. Working on a couple more. Let's get it, Doc!
5* Navy +3
Navy ML +120
Last night update - Houston +3....loss
Have seen Pee Wee teams tackle better than Houston! ha
UAB -9'
Blazers needs to win 3 out of their last 4 to be bowl eligible. First game of a 3 game homestand. I'm thinking Marshall fits the bill for one of them today.
PSU -6
Why not? NW QB Persa, probable, coming off a concussion. JoePa going after #400 at home.
Clemson -3
Just tailing a bunch of good cappers on this one!
