Forum Members Profile Updates
We have done this here before and I think it helps out many times, during the season. Some here are better cappers than others, but we can all contribute in some way. Think about it some are very good at certain sports, some may have certain knowledge that others may not. Some of you may know someone connected with a team or wise guy. Something as easy as letting others here know about the late weather changes or a late player scratch or injury, or a nice stat find or angle in The FoxSheets. We have a guy here-JVF, who gave us info on his sharp mans late line moves and a lot of us cashed in with him. We can all help in some ways, so lets not be shy. Any of the lurkers up there, now is your chance to give something back. Lets not make it the same handful of posters every year who contribute, so get involved.
Please post your expert areas or sports that you are best in and what part the country you are from. If we all continue to work together we can make a big differance and help one another to a winning season.
I'll start,
I'm from upstate NewYork, about 16 south of Albany. I have been capping sports for longer than many of you here have been around. I will be the big 60 in early Dec. My expert areas are in the NHL and MLB. I'm a stat and record keeping hound. I also enjoy some friendly ballbusting here when certain posters asume the proper position.

Ragtop, good idea
Guess you can tell by the name what sport I love - FOOTBALL!
Located in north-central New Jersey, just minutes from the shore, Monmouth Park, and the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. And no, I don't speak "bada-bing", different area. LOL!
Have done some serious research in past seasons keeping a watchful eye on stats, injuries, weather, situations, etc. I'm a die-hard Niner fan, but objective when laying money.
Since watching and learning here at the forum, my approach to capping NFL this year will be different, and I plan to help out whenever possible.

What position is that Ragtop. Remember I use soap on a rope for that very reason. LOL.
I'm Dave aka JustDave or JD.
I live in SD, but that's going to change this month. Moving to Boise, home of the Smurf Turf (blue astro turf at Boise St U.)
We are moving there for a better life for our children, who are 2 years and 5 weeks old. Both girls.
I cap about 3-4 hours per day. I watch Extra Innings on Cable, and MLB.TV on my laptop at the same time. I also work as a nurse to keep level headed. I'm in critical care, an area of medicine that requires a lot of critical thinking skills. This translates well to capping!
I have had years, when I was single when I capped bases for a living. Now I do it for simply extra sheckles.
My areas of expertise are Bases (second half, and post-season), infinity system plays in College hoops, and WNBA, and my patented MNF Fade the Public plays of the week, where the public loses, the books win, and I win too!!!!!

Ragtop...
Just a sec, I'm doing this needle thing, injecting truth serum...
Ouch! Oheeeee!!! ya mon..., zzzz...
PLINK!
Ahh...., the sound of eylids opening, one of my favorite sounds after an injection....
I'm from Canada. I live in the same town as the world's best parlay bettor that I have witnessed. I don't know my age, but I appear to have been around for quite some time. Forty years or so.
I'm single, but do like to chase women. I prefer being chased though, just has more fun to it. Kind of a rock star allure to it all, as they rip off my clothes and I just keep singing away.
Big music fan, love the Doors and Rush. No other bands matter, except maybe Neil Young and Alice Cooper which are not bands at all. Go figure...
Been gambling since the age of 6. That's a long time.
First gamble with real money was Crown and Anchors. A church bingo game. I would lay my nickel down, and dream of riches, enough riches to buy a hot dog and a coke.
I was decent at that game, mostly cuz I was not a capper at the time. One thing I learned quickly with it though, even as a kid, is run with the winnings! As soon as I would win, I left the place and would dine on the finest junk food around.
By the age of fifteen, I sought larger gambling territory. There was no roulette around in my small little home town, only Church Bingo. One of my biggest wins ever. Again, no capping. Hard game to cap, even though I saw all the ladies and gents trying to pick the best cards from a pile.
I won four turkeys that fateful day! A church record. You know, the kind you eat. I thought Green Peace was gonna arrest me, but it never happened. I was a bit of a paranoid kid.
I have been gambling ever since, on everything and anything. I just love to gamble, especially when one can get an edge of sorts.
I don't stop at sports, mostly because I never began there. Sports gambling is all still quite new to me, even though I have been at almost three years now. I just keep a studying...
I have the ultimate betting system that will make you all millions.
I am going to tell it to you all right now!
Hey, this is cheap truth serum. It's wearing off....
Let me try this other stuff here, it should work, and then I will tell you all how to make millions!
WD-40. Sound like something I can inject....
ZONK!!!
My name is John Paul Getty...

OK here goes:
I'm from the Mile High City (GO BRONCOS!!!) and just graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder three years ago (No, I did not attend those recruitment parties!). I'm 27 going on 28 in October. My full-time job is a Tire Tech for this large company not traded on the stock exchange (private co.). I'm doing the sports investing as a means to live off of my income and build a business of my own. Money management is key. Consistency is key. Discipline is key. Without all of those things, you might as well as give your money to the attendant in the cage because you will lose a LOT! I used to think I have a strong capping skills in a certain sport and that sport was NFL. Of course, last year, I went 38% ATS and quit by mid-season. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE FOOTBALL and it should be America's pasttime. I cannot cap worth a damn and I was lucky to win the CBB tourney last year. How did I win, you ask? Money management, discipline, and consistency are the reasons why I'm doing well right now at this point...
I love systems, especially when they are proven for at least three to five years. I love databases and stats and I believe they are critical in capping these games. To date, my strongest suit is MLB as I am doing the series chase by picking one team every three or four days as the best team to bet on. This weekend was the Cards at home and they won the first game. Still doing some more research on series betting to find better angles. Also, I am doing the SureCash system which is doing pretty well lately. Had to quit in the middle of June because there were too many games ending in 1-runs, mostly interleauge... With more experience, I will be able to learn from my mistakes and improve the next season. In NBA, I play top faves on the ML when they are -9.5 or higher. Yes the ML is high, but the win rate is also high (I will post these plays along with a fictional bankroll to show how it works and how everyone can benefit from making money).
I'm still doing some more research in the upcoming NFL season, but mostly I will be focused on Fantasy Football (the guys who invented that are GODS to me!! LOL!)... After a terrible NFL season last year, I just watch the games for pure enjoyment and that's ok with me. I never bet on the Broncos, unless I am absolutely sure they are going to win (IE: Denver vs. Indy where Denver was a 7 point dog and won outright; played the ML and returned my bet at 3:1!! That was my only play on Denver that day).
College games? Well, let's just say they are sometimes overrated, like which school is the better school and which conference is the better conference. I have no idea, but I do know this: These AP polls that they have out there today? They are HIGHLY OVERRATED!!! I know some of you will agree with me as I recall the BCS fiasco that pitted OSU against LSU??? It should have been LSU against USC!! Now that's a game I would watch! The conference that I mostly watch is the Big 12, you know, CU, Nebraska, Kansas, KSU, etc... I keep tabs at my alma mater and as some of you know, I have pretty good info on the Buffs football team. Last year, some of you were going to bet on the Buffs at home as a dog against the powerhouse Nebraska. I helped most of you out by telling you not to bet on CU because they had lost to Baylor earlier in the season and were not motivated in that game. Of course, Nebraska won that game easily...
Well, I'll stop for now, but if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask as I am more than happy to help you out with most things. Oh yeah, I LOVE EXCEL!! LOL!
Later and good luck!

Skeeters here to learn, and learn as much as possible.
Live out here smack dab in the middle of nowhere... Kansas! Whoda' thunk that?
Until last fall, wagered along with my friends against the local book and listened to him laugh about how much money he was making. Got on a nice streak in college football, the Big XXII cashed the best for me, and the NBA once the season was a month old.
I am not here to coatail anyones plays... That type of thinking has without a doubt cost me money. The biggest thing I HAVE learned is those that are proven to be good cappers, post to help us all. So when I can help, I will. In the meantime, still learning....
PS I have no future in the autobioghraphy field.
