GFX's Golf Play #5 (4-0 +19.2units)

Back again and so is the Tiger. His schedule was to play at next week's WGC-CA, which is truly a great money making opportunity for us....he has won the last 4 and 6 of the 8 he entered. THAT is some nice stats!

This week he is at Bay Hill, scene of a 4-straight win streak (not current) and a junior championship. Although he has played this tourney every year, he didn't add it to his schedule until this week. My sense is that he would not play if he didn't feel 100% about his game this week.

The competition actually got a little weaker as a few of the world's top players dropped out and/or were disqualified. The usual threats of Phil and Vijay are out there, Vijay having won last year. Neither are playing well enough for me to bet them or the under/over props this week.

6* Tiger Woods to Win +100
You can find lines from -110 to +120 (+120 prop at sportsbook). I took a combination of a few different lines because I wanted a bet in early, so they average out to even money for me. Good luck whatever you might play this week!

GFX Golf Record: 4-0 +19.2units
1-0 Target World Challenge +7units
2-0 Buick Championship +5.2units
3-0 Dubai Desert Classic +2units
4-0 World Golf Championship +5units

BIV where do you play that they only offer a -160? That seems way off!

Tiger's pro-am group destroyed the course today shooting 15 under and winning the pro-am. That was enough for me to increase my wager from 4* to 6*

Tiger has reported that the greens are a serious issue but one everyone must deal with. So that is a wildcard out there.

Mike I figure you gotta ride the train until it runs off the rails...

TIGER!

Nice pick on Tiger this weekend. On Friday when Vijay was up by 7 or 8 strokes I thought it might be a stretch. Glad I saw your post so I could collect.

THAT was possibly the best tournament of the season right there. A dogfight all the way to the last hole with different players in contention all the time...Tiger with a putt only Tiger could make, a truly sweet victory!

Next week is a tourney that favors Tiger more than any other all season...he is now 9 for his last 10, and next week's tourney he is 6 for 8 lifetime! He also has won the last 3 times at next week's tourney. We need to see what odds are offered but if around 1-1 another great play. Let's keep riding this train!

WINNER! 1-0 +6units

1-0 Target World Challenge +7units
2-0 Buick Championship +5.2units
3-0 Dubai Desert Classic +2units

Tiger....... PUTT awesome.. Tourney Awesome.

I am on Starwager... Always seems worse odds than most.. Just not sure I want to set up something else right now..

Learned a little.. Burned a little... I thought I was playing Furyk vs Sergio Round 1.. NOPE it was for the Tourney .. He then blew a 3 shot lead after 1. & ties,... I Thought I pushed.. NOPE. Ties go to Best last Round... SERGIO.

Til next week

GL
