Everyone is on Kansas City and rightfully so. Two reasons for this wager.
1) My home team since 1967 when as a kid we moved to California. I can't even begin to tell you how many games I've attended for almost 50 years.
What? I'm not going to take them in a Game 7??
2) Tim Hudson is nearing the end of a long career. The starting pitcher in a game 7, after never being involved in a World Series during a 16 year career.
Only baseball gives you these storybook endings. If the Giants and Hudson are going to be involved in such an ending I want to be a part of it.

since 1980 Game 6 and game 7 home teams are 23-3.

But, i'm sitting with a 30-1 ticket on giants world series. I already hit 15-1 NL penant. Sadly I have to hedge. I love the giants. I love this team. I kind of wish bumgarner came out tonight to start. If he can throw from the pen why not just start him out and see what happens. Let him become a legend.

I really hope this goes well. I think this should be an epic game. It's been an incredible series. HOpe the giants can defy all odds and win tonight.

I focused only on years where there was a game 7 played. There were nine years with the WS going the distance. The home team is 17-1 in games 6 & 7. Obviously, in those nine years the home team won every game 7.

These and other trends are hard to ignore. I am already on KC (sorry Ralph) and looking at the under. All hands on deck tonight. I am sure the starters from game 5 will be called on early. In game 7 of the nine series mentioned above, under hit 5 times with 5 of the last 6 going under.
