The feds and New Jersey sports betting

This is a big deal if you live in or close to New Jersey. The state want's to mirror Las Vegas.

Christie predicted last May that the state could offer sports betting by last fall.
“We intend to go forward and allow sports betting to happen,” Christie said at the time. “If someone wants to stop us, then let them try to stop us.”

Christie is a liar. Wish it would happen, but the pols would rather see US bettors get ripped off by unregulated offshore sportsbooks. We have, what , close to 100 different lotteries and scratch offs here in Jersey, but you cant bet on sports. Its not like we couldnt use the tax revenue.
