Sawyer

Seems lately as though many games that could go either way, we get the short end of the stick.

Let's start a winning streak real soon.

Terrible beats with the Preds and Ducks the last 2 days.

Anyway, cheers to a profitable November!

I'm on them as well. Only comparable line i got was Edmonton. The rest were about +115 across the board.

Stop dropping $$ bombs on these games Sawyer!

We are all lucky to have someone like Sawyer sharing his hard work. And it's not right busting his balls about the odds he's using.

Thanks for the winners, ignore the haters Sawyer!!

5Dimes for US.
Pinnacle, Sbobet, Betfair for Non-US.

Bookmaker.com has 20cent lines but usually you can find very nice odds if you're betting on underdog.

Thanks for the plays, Sawyer! Here another follower.

The 2 best for good lines are 5dimes and Pinnacle. Sometimes you can have a good line with other books... but these both have 90% good lines for all games.

I just got (pinnacle):

ANAH 115
NJ 136
FLO 120
EDM 150
PITT 131

Have a good night to all!

Most days my lines run about 95-98 percent of Sawyer's. Today, I was at 91 percent. A big deal? No, not at all. Let's carry this out over the course of a full season. If Sawyer reaches his goal of 50 units, that means I will win about 45 units (assuming my average price on winning plays is just 90 percent of his average). I'd be very happy with that. Using October as another example: Sawyer was +10 units, while I was at 9.4 units.

Price depends on when and where you make your plays. I'm at 5Dimes, Heritage and Bookmaker. Today, I made my plays about an hour after Sawyer's post. My average price today was +124, compared to Sawyer's +137. That's the 91 percent mentioned above. Tomorrow, it might be 98 percent. It varies. Just think long-term and don't be bugged about the occasional +120 when +140 is listed. It's going to happen.

Today, one line move on 5Dimes got my attention. I logged on and began punching in the wager amounts for all five games. This takes all of a minute. When I began punching in the amounts, the line on Edmonton was +158. When I submitted my wagers, I was notified that the Edmonton line had dropped -- all the way down to +145. Again, not a big deal. After all, +145 is 93 percent of the +156 Sawyer posted.

Just my 2 centavos on the subject of NHL lines. Hope we all have a great night. And thanks to Sawyer for a solid October. Dating back to the start of NHL Iron Dogs on December 4, 2010 -- and including March 2011, when there was a 0.25 of a unit loss -- the Dogs have averaged +10.68 units per month for me. At 3 percent of BR per game, that's an average gain of 32 percent per month. Doesn't take long to double, triple or quadruple a BR at that rate. BOL tonight.
