The excessive celebration penalty of K-States reciever is ridiculous. A 15 yard penalty which made them go for 2 point conversion from the 18 yard line.

i agree that in a bowl game in that situation it shouldn't be called, but it would have been called in the regular season & apparently that ref wanted to decide the game. on the other hand that player knows the rule & shouldn't have put his team in that situation. didn't like the call, but he shouldn't have assumed it would be let go.

Aren't u supposed to be excited when u just (possibly) tied the game with 1 minute left?

I had cuse too. I just feel bad for the K State players. That was a ticky tac call that affected the game. Both teams played their hearts out.

My money was on Syracuse but that call sure did take the shine off a hell of a ball game.

i think the problem was that it wasn't an act of excitement. if he would have spiked the ball or jumped & bumped chests with a teammate it could be chaulked up to excitment, but doing that salute thing was all about him. like i said, shouldn't have been called in that situation, but that kid should have known better. some refs have no commonsense.

syr game was a difference of $1,800 to me, i didn't mind that call one bit. made up for some earlier season horrific losses. next.

And even cuse fans were chanting "Fix" at the end of game....... Great game...... Shame on the referees for taking ending into their hands

That one was bad, it cost me. But the truly worst call of the day was for North Carolina. They had linemen still running off the field at the snap of the ball - and its only a 5 yard penalty. Something is wrong with college football when you can exploit something like that.
