Going to start a thread here with something I have been playing around with. I had a small sample size on what i was able to back test from last season, but I was guessing it would become a playable system around May 20th.
It has started to do pretty well since the 14th, so I am assuming part of that early success can be attributed to luck.
I am playing these, but they are very small plays until the sample size gets bigger. Last night was a very good night, it went 6-1 with the lone loss coming from Tampa Bay. I also got lucky with Kansas City, thank you Kerry Wood!
I am going to measure units assuming one wager = one unit, I think that is just an easy measuring tool to determine success.
Year-to-date it is 52-43 for .79 units, but from May 14th to today it is 18-5 up 9.85 units. I think the 18-5 is better than it is capable of, but the 52-43 is worse than it is capable of. I didn't begin to wager anything on it until last night.
Good luck to all!
Today's plays are:
Detroit Tigers -153
Toronto Blue Jays -101
Tampa Bay -175
This system doesn't do as well with interleague play so I am posting the plays today, but I am not putting as money on them.
I will try and post the plays this weekend as well, but it is a busy weekend.
I live on the west side of Indianapolis a few miles away from the speedway and there is a LOT going on this weekend. Also headed down to Cincinnati to catch the Reds/Indians on Saturday.
Good luck everyone and have a great holiday weekend!

America is not at war. The U.S. Military is at war. America is at the Mall. If you don't stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!
Remember, Freedom isn't Free, thousands have paid the price so you can enjoy what you have today.
2-1 Yesterday, gained a fraction of a unit, just a little more than I lost Friday.
The formula spit out only two plays today, only one I am making an official play.
NYM was a play, but with a few starters out they are WAY too expensive today, even against the "Natinals" I am not willing to go that high.
Today we have:
LAA -200 (again, steep price)

On a side note, how HUGE has Joey Votto been for the Reds this year. Even with being ill the last few weeks he has been unbelievable. Redlegs are 1.5 out of first and charging hard!
I knew the law of averages were going to come back to bite me in the @$$, but 0-4 was a little shocking.
All in all though, very pleased with the weekend. It was profitable and that is all you can ask for. Make more than you lose.
I have been thinking about adding a parlay to each day, and if I had been doing a full unit parlay for each day (the parlay being each team I bet on for the day) I would be up many more units.
On May 17th it went 4-0 and would have been just over 11 units, May 19th it went 6-0 and would have been 19, Friday it was 3-0 and would have been just over 4 units and Saturday would have netted over 29 units. Adding those and subtracting the days it would have lost a unit I would still have added 55.6 units (From May 14th to Today, not including Interleague).
Any thoughts on this from some of the veterans on this board? Is this a good option to try and add to the unit total or over the long haul to the parlays hit too infrequently to make it a worthwhile venture?
I am going to do a half-unit parlay on the two plays today.

Just wanted to give a quick tip of the cap to my alma matter's baseball team. Indiana University made it to their second ever college baseball NCAA tournament.
We were swept out, but coach Smith has that program headed in the right direction! GO HOOSIERS! Basketball season is just around the corner (not as excited about football without coach Hep leading the charge).
2-3 Yesterday, not good but not the worst that could have happened. I actually doubled up and put 2 units on Tampa since that was a JeffDane Bookie Buster, but won't count it in the tally since I did not post it.
Normally this system spits out several favorites, but there is a nice mix of dogs. Lately it has been all favorites. I am thinking about throwing a couple of filters on, but at this point I don't have enough data to do that.
I worked a 14 hour day yesterday, so thank God for Friday!
