(I know your WH total can't be right because you can't have game 2 record of 17-16 with only 31 game 1 losses)

In the past two seasons, 2 of the 3 WH losses have come to teams that have lost at least 4 straight (Phil in 06 and Fla in 05). I am going back through and trying to come up with objective pass criteria to minimize losses. Subjectively looking at STL could have avoided that loss (3 of the 4 were against Nash, Det and SJ), although, it was probably a VERY "cheap " loss.
Many of the RT losses have come to hot teams too (winning 4 of last 5 or better).
