Thanks

Thank you for taking the time posting.
Fairly new to dog racing.
My handicapping is to get the dog that can't get out front
being 1 st or 2nd at the eighth poll, then keying the dog
with the rest.seems to me,1st at the eighth poll wins a
high percentage of races.
Your thoughts on Naples Fort Myers Greyhound track?

Thanks
Vac

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, I don't usually look at Ft. Myers. I do keep track of their sister tracks, Corpus and Flagler. I like your strategy. Let's see how Tucson would do using your method tonight!

I recommend the following wager structure when you've got one pup. Muy conservative.

$1 EXACTA; PICK w ALL
$2 to SHOW
$6 to PLACE

$15 per race or any multiple thereof

1) #8
4) #2
6) #4
12) #2

$2 to WIN

Tucson Greyhound:
1) #6, #2 W, S 7.00
2) #2, #7
3) #8, #2
4) #3, #1 W 7.60
5) #2, #7 P
6) #6, #1 W, P 7.80
7) #5, #1 W 7.60
8) #7, #3 P, S
9) #7, #5 P
10) #1, #6
11) #4, #8 W 4.40
12) #2, #7 W 7.80
13) #1, #8 S

Risk: $52
Ret: $42.20
Net: -$9.80

Notes: Plenty of winners, but not enough odds to turn a profit. Sad, isn't it? To have a decent idea of who's going to win a horse or dog race and still not get paid? This is a good example of why we don't actually play straight wagers if our capping is good. What a waste! We also never play every race, but this is just an exercise. Notice we hit no GRADE C races AGAIN last night (uncappable).

Look for more picks today, or if anyone want me to focus on a different track, just let me know! How about a vote? List your favorite track here and I'll cap it for you.

Books

It is ok to ask here I believe. If anyone knows for sure, please let US know.

The books I know of that take dogs are the following with their respective notes.

PayDog - only if your state ALLOWS dog wagering (11 states only)

Link2Bet - possibly same rules, not sure

BetOnUsa - I use this one, excellent service, half a dozen or more tracks offered

Racebook - mirror site for BetOnUsa (same tote and tracks)

DayAtTheTrack - offers the most of any number of tracks I've ever seen, however requires sensitive personal info (SS#) to sign up and has poor cashier options

Ladbrokes - European racing

Damn, if I got everyone to sign up at BetOnUsa, I'd be rolling in bonuses!....but that would require your email addy and I won't ask for that......

...let me know what tracks you have access to at your current book and I'll take a look!
