I backtracked the system for the last 4 years. I didn't have the odds for the RL. I added a filter, both starting pitcher has at least 3 starts.

357Vegas Method, Year 2002
ML: 75-35-0 (68.18%) $4.20
Fading ML: 35-75-0 (31.82%) -$20.05
RL(-1): 58-35-0 (62.37%) -$5.20
RL(-1.5): 58-52-0 (52.73%) -$22.20

357Vegas Method, Year 2003
ML: 61-43-0 (58.65%) -$9.80
Fading ML: 43-61-0 (41.35%) $15.55
RL(-1): 50-43-0 (53.76%) -$15.69
RL(-1.5): 50-54-0 (48.08%) -$26.69

357Vegas Method, Year 2004
ML: 61-37-0 (62.24%) -$0.77
Fading ML: 37-61-0 (37.76%) $6.22
RL(-1): 43-37-0 (53.75%) -$11.95
RL(-1.5): 43-55-0 (43.88%) -$29.95

357Vegas Method, Year 2005
ML: 74-47-0 (61.16%) -$3.63
Fading ML: 47-74-0 (38.84%) -$0.28
RL(-1): 54-47-0 (53.47%) -$15.25
RL(-1.5): 54-67-0 (44.63%) -$35.25

Units are meaningless for RL(-1) and RL(-1.5) as I didn't have the odds.

Hey, bigd

Remember how the other day we kicked around the idea of adding a road pitcher with all the same parameters except the ERA difference had to be 4 or more? Today, Webb(Ari) vs. Milton(Cin) with Webb only as -150 fav. Any thoughts?

Need to have 1 week stat and see how the road team with gap of 4 doing. If they look good, then why not.

How did you backtrack all of that?? I am not doubting you did, I looked and looked for past results that listed the ERA of each pitcher, but I didn't find anything that would have made it easy to go day by day and find the matchup... Anyway great job! Also, it seems you would end up around even, how many times did this system produce 4 or 5 losing days in a row. You could make a chase out of it?? Example, if Minny looses today, take tomorrow play of the day and double it.

Are you guys just looking at overall ERA? Or are you looking at the home team pitchers ERA at home and the road team pitchers ERA on the road? Just curious.

Let's keep it going.

Are we only going to use one game if there are 2 that qualify?

Possibility?

I don't know where to check on this, but to take away some of the bull pen factor can you backtrack this system to the 1st 5 innings and see if that gives a better % to win?

Bullpen info helps me choose...

I like to see the the ERA of the bullpens if there are more than one qualifing team. Everyone knows once the bullpens come in it's a free-for-all...

well, so far this method hasn't been too bad over the last month of so....except for the crash on the Yanks yesterday (but who in their right mind would play -400 SU in baseball...???)

i'm using discretion and i'm filtering out any picks that are -180 or above, just to be on the safe side.

thanks for posting this...
