Remember how the other day we kicked around the idea of adding a road pitcher with all the same parameters except the ERA difference had to be 4 or more? Today, Webb(Ari) vs. Milton(Cin) with Webb only as -150 fav. Any thoughts?
How did you backtrack all of that?? I am not doubting you did, I looked and looked for past results that listed the ERA of each pitcher, but I didn't find anything that would have made it easy to go day by day and find the matchup... Anyway great job! Also, it seems you would end up around even, how many times did this system produce 4 or 5 losing days in a row. You could make a chase out of it?? Example, if Minny looses today, take tomorrow play of the day and double it.
Are you guys just looking at overall ERA? Or are you looking at the home team pitchers ERA at home and the road team pitchers ERA on the road? Just curious.
I don't know where to check on this, but to take away some of the bull pen factor can you backtrack this system to the 1st 5 innings and see if that gives a better % to win?
well, so far this method hasn't been too bad over the last month of so....except for the crash on the Yanks yesterday (but who in their right mind would play -400 SU in baseball...???)
i'm using discretion and i'm filtering out any picks that are -180 or above, just to be on the safe side.
