AFL Week 8 (YTD 21-12;+10.60)
A rough week last week fellas hoping that those bloody road teams don't let us down again this week. Thankfully not much interstate traveling to worry about so this should be a solid week.
ML:
Sydney (1.0 unit @ 2.00) - not a lot of value in this bet, but Sydney has played some decent footy and should be good for the odd goal that will separate the two teams. I think Sydney has about a 60% chance of winning.
Western (0.5 units @ 2.10) - Tight game, I think Western might just edge them
Spread:
Adelaide -8 (2.0 units) - easily the best bet on the board for me, Adelaide is well-favoured to win outright (worth a small side bet if you have some winnings to burn), and they have about a 65-70% chance of covering the line in this one.
Fremantle -12.5 (1.0 unit)
Melbourne -16.5 (1.0 unit) - didn't show last week, but they should blow Hawthorn out of the water playing at the MCG.
Western Bulldogs +4.5 (0.5 units) - Western should actually be the favourites (in my mind) and so getting the 4.5 points is a good value bet. I wouldn't back them if they become the favourite before bounce down.
Richmond -26.5 (0.5 units)
Total of 6.5 units on the line.
Not a lot of time for lengthy write ups, just wanted to get these out while I got some Internet time. Have a great weekend, and good luck on all that baseball/footy/NBA action. I should be back on regular schedule by the end of next week and I will start posting my MLB plays then.
