How do online books compete like this?

Honestly, i admit my online book blows but i've never had a problem with betus other than the high juice. And i'm apprehensive to switch now considering what's going on elsewhere.

Anyway looking at the Greek for the last few weeks and the lines are way better. I.E Atlanta was something like -188 with the Greek and -210 with Betus yesterday. -190 as opposed to -178 today. Makes a huuuuge difference. I would think it would be similar to pricing gas in order to compete with other gas companies but apparently it isn't.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? It's okay to say.."Because they know idiots like you will pay higher juice to avoid switching to another sportsbook."

Thanks

I say it's because casual gamblers don't realize there could be better lines. Bodog is a great example of this. Lines suck but they have tons of business.

True True. I don't know why Bodog gets so much business. They suck with payouts and lines.

Betus will process my payout within 48hrs but now they're not depositing money into my bank account and are charging me a $40 dollar fee to use fedex which is ridiculous. Anal rape

I was going to open an account with Betjam but obviously that isn't happening.

My guess is Betus will be gone before football season

I guess which books are favorable to anyone is based upon tedancy's of favs or dogs as your choice of wagers.

I just switched from Betpho to 5-Dimes because Betpho is in trouble, but loved their reduced juice.

5-Dimes didn't give me any bonus but I get reduced juice on everything everyday.
Their rated A+

Bottom line is a good local. But once he gets to know your tendancies he might try to move the lines around a little in his favor.

Thats when the offshore comes in handy to compare.

Does that make any sense?

Good Luck To All

Bodog gets business because they advertise more so than the competition, and I'm sure the majority of their clientele are casual bettors as a result. Their advertising through poker (sites and television) went deep for years. Also, most people don't line shop as the Gov eluded to....Bodog has yet another great opportunity to get your money in strong......Boston -350.

Bodog is your book if you bet underdogs. If you bet mostly favorites (4 major sports) you wont want to bet them there.

Finesse is a reference to how cleverly the books move their lines on certain games. To finesse the public into betting the wrong side.

Looking to switch books. I'm currently using Bodog and although the software is nice the lines aren't as good as other books. Frankly, the juice along with a 5% deposit fee (in addition to a foreign transaction fee on my credit statement) isn't working for me. Unfortunately, with the recent crackdown on online gambling I don't know where to turn. I checked sportsbookreview.com and weighed my options. Does anyone have any experience with Legends? If so, do you recommend it? I'm looking for quick deposit and withdrawal options. Lastly, does anyone use moneybookers or neteller? Are there any fees with using these options? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am on the same page with you, would like to switch website, since a lot of uncertenty with all these US sites.
i think i can provide some useful info for NETELLER since i use them for the last 3 years
Well, i am from europe and i use EURO as my base currency, and avoid any currency conversion and so on
I fund my Netteler account from Visa or Mastercard with a charge of 1.75% e.g. 100euro deposit 101,75 euro total, i have also the NEtt prepaid mastecard which i use it as normal card (cash, online purchases, local stores).
The reason i used it is because i work at local financial service co, and they check my account, so i want to avoid question where i use my NETT card .
Anyway the website that i use for the last 4 years is BOOKMAKER
AND RECENTLY WAS SIZED, i am still happy with them since they have this betpoints (cashback) for me is iportant sicne i bet a lot parleys, and they did`t charge me anything when i was asking money back to my neteller until recently while they charge me 10 euro for amount 20-500 euro 15 euro 501-2000 and so on
if anybody have any website with good bonus scheme please let me know
