I am the leader, "Father Rock".
AA is fine, however I studied the group intensely over the years. Yes, it works for many, but not all. It has a very high dropout rate, for various reasons. Some do not like religion for example.
I need a new name. It too will be anonymous, and donation based.
A little less serious, a bit more fun. People will now have a choice. AA or this new place.
My bug was, I am an epileptic. I cannot drive. I live in the country. I cannot take a bus, they do not exist. I could not find a ride.
The rules will be a bit different.
1. Just admit you are an alcoholic.

You might all think it is a bit crazy, it is! lol!
It is not the first crazy idea I ever had. Starting my first computer company was crazy. Very little money, little knowledge and a book. About 8 years later, close to one million in sales.
I am older and wiser now.
This is to help people, and I amm user friendly.
That means, I do not mind helping people.
About two weeks ago, I calmed down an alcoholic, and got him to try a new job. He was drinking away and so very nervous.
I made sure he drank only coffee on Sunday, and you know what???
It worked out perfectly. He is super happy right now, and behaving. And will continue to behave for at least a while, I put a belief into him.

I have known for quite sometime, that alcoholics, are a solo sort, when they sober up.
They realize, the game must stop.
A lot have tried AA, it just did not work for very long.
Many do not make it past four weeks.
It was boring, the same 20 minute speech before every meeting, like, we already know we drink too much!
You want a little excitement!!!!
The horror stories, the good times, the sad times, the reason you must stop and so on, all good. It helps to have a leader with a sense of humor!
That will be Father Rock!
It was actually my sister who inspired me to start it, after my last little binge.
We will see, year one, how it all works out. : )
