Re: 0-1 recorded for me last night. As much as I wanted the Kings to win last night, they were not a play for me.

This is my play for tonight:

Minnesota under 5 ( - 115 ) to win 2 units

YTD : 9-9 ( - 0.4)

Normally, I agree

with Lippsman that home ice is not much of a factor. But in truth, the Hawks have been terrible away for the last few months. In contrast, Minnesota has been near-stellar at home, and I don't think the Hawks ought to be giving the kind of odds they have here.

Minnesota +118

Good luck,

Lem

After Game 4: The Boston Bruins visited and shut out the Montreal Canadiens 1-goal-nil with the only goal at 1:19 into overtime, thus tying best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 1229 at 2-games-all. When tied 2-games-all in a best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series, the Boston Bruins have a series record of 16-15 and a Game 5 record of 15-16, while the Montreal Canadiens have a series record of 24-18 and a Game 5 record of 22-20 (with an active four-Game 5 losing streak). Series 1229 Game 4 was the 14th best-of-7 NHL playoff game won 1-goal-nil by the road team in overtime, and the second such game won in the first three minutes of overtime (the only other: series 853 Game 5, won 2:19 into overtime by the Los Angeles Kings in Colorado over the Avalanche in their 2002 NHL Preliminary-round series).

After Game 3: The Montreal Canadiens hosted and defeated the Boston Bruins 4-goals-2 to take a best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 1229 lead of 2-games-1. When leading a best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 2-games-1, the Montreal Canadiens have a series record of 37-10 and a Game 4 record of 18-29. When trailing a best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 2-games-1, the Boston Bruins have a series record of 8-22 and a Game 4 record of 15-15.

After Game 2: The Boston Bruins hosted and defeated the Montreal Canadiens 5-goals-3 to knot best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 1229 at 1-game-all. After Game 3: The Anaheim Ducks visited and bested the Los Angeles Kings 3-goals-2 to reduce the Los Angeles Kings best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL series 1232 lead to 2-games-1. When leading a best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 2-games-1, the Los Angeles Kings have a series record of 4-3 and a Game 4 record of 1-6 (with an active four-Game 4 losing streak). HISTORICAL VICTORY PROBABILITIES: Leading WWL @ VVH:
Considering win order; considering site order: The team leading WWL with site order VVH (Los Angeles) has the following best-of-7 playoff series and games record through the 2014 NHL and NBA Preliminary rounds:
series record, all best-of-7 sports, all rounds: 32-23 (.582)
series record, all best-of-7 sports, Quarterfinals round: 6-8 (.429)
series record, NHL only, all rounds: 20-17 (.541)
series record, NHL only, Quarterfinals round: 5-6 (.455)
Game 4 record, all best-of-7 sports, all rounds: 27-28 (.491)
Game 4 record, all best-of-7 sports, Quarterfinals round: 5-9 (.357)
Game 4 record, NHL only, all rounds: 16-21 (.432)
Game 4 record, NHL only, Quarterfinals round: 4-7 (.364)
These records are drawn from the applicable 1236 best-of-7 NHL, NBA, and MLB series played through the 2014 NHL and NBA Preliminary rounds. Note in general that the greater the number of games or series fitting a particular situation, the greater the significance of the corresponding winning fraction: For example, 0.800 is far more likely to come closer to the true winning fraction in a given situation when the corresponding win-loss record is 400-100 rather than 4-1.

any changes here ?

Ducks will start rookie goaltender John Gibson (3-0, 1.33 GAA in 2013-14) in place of Jonas Hiller tonight vs. Kings.
