Great Info
I think this is a great, good to hear from everyone, all info helps.I will be 50 in July.I live in Luray Va,90 miles west of Washington D.C.I have been married for 22 years with 3 children,Daughter,20 in college,2 sons, almost 18 and 16.(2 in college next year..ouch)I have owned 2 used car dealerships for 22 years and have been in the business for 30 years. I own a bail bonding company that is 5 years old( Sorry guys I am only licensed in VA...lol) I was a volunteer asst.football coach for our local highscool for 9 years. I own a summer league ncaa baseball team that plays in the Valley league,The Luray Wranglers.Google will give you good info.I have about 10 guys who played for us in the majors and many in the minors.I ran for public office 2 times won both...wont do that again.I use to go to casins 20-25 times a year now 5-10. Going to Vegas May 7th for 6 days. I have been capping since I was 20,had some great years and had some really crappy years. My most consistant sport is Ncaa Football I do bet everything I post and really enjoy STATFOX.Theo only site that I post on,there is alot of good people and cappers here. It is a fact that many of these cappers are making good money..I try to post as much as possible, however it is pretty hard to do in the summer.I have talked to many of you on the phone and met up with Pinkpastarmi who is from Cali. in Vegas 2 years ago.I would enjoy having a reunion in Vegas somtime with as many members as possible, that would be a blast and hopefully very profitable. Take care Gang,Have a Great night!

Never seen this thread but its a great idea
Well my name is Jim. I was born in Chicago, I started capping in college when a Fraternity brother was going to get his legs broken ( so he said ) S0 he asked all of us to put our for 5 bucks here, 20 bucks herel, ect and I came up with a 4 team par. It was 97 I believe, and I figured the comeback kid Jim Harbaugh and the SD chargers put up I think 17 or so as they were getting 14 ot 15 to hit the dog and over ( I was an accounting student then) against the high powered randall cunningham vikings to go over. Then I studyed my ass off and came up with the Jaquars w Mark Brunell as they were covering every week and bet the over in that and we ended up hitting that 4 team par and he was out of debt and all my frat brothers started calling me the messiah and they still do.
So I graduated with a Management Information Systems degree in 2000 and I started working for small company in downtown Chicago. For years my dad had invested money with his brother in Florida and they had a small hotel, and when my dad retired in 2003, he goal was to move to Florida for the weather and buy a Hotel and run it. They ended up buying on earlier and my dad's partner got really sick and the lady that was running it was 70 years old and heart attack and died like a month after they bought it so my dad begged me to put my life on hold for a couple of months and straighten things out, but of course it was the summer of 2001 and we all know what happened in September of that year so nobody was traveling and the Hotel was struggling so I had to stay dow there and learn everything on the fly while take Hotel Managment classes at night and stretching every dollar into two. Long story short, I fell in love with the business and 9 years later and I have 3 hotel, 2 restaurants, a bunch of useless land that I was going to build Hotels on this year and next year but with the crappy economy I am taking a break. That's why you see me on the site a lot more then before.
Then my dad had a stroke so he's was real close to dying but luckily he made it to the sidewalk as he was home alone and a neighbor saw him and called 911 and after months of rehab and PT, he's doing a lot better then the doctors said he would do, but with him not at 100% brings a lot more stess on my mother so I am going back to Chicago in the next week or so to stay and help them out.
There is nothing I like more then play sports. I played 4 years of high school baseball and got a scholarship to play at a division 3 school, but my parents were not sending their kid to a division 3 school regardless of how much money they saved. LOL Plus they didn't want me out of the state. Anyway I have found and outlet for my love for the game so I play softball in a fun league on monday nights and a fast pitch game on Wednesday night.
My best sport by far is Baseball which is strange because it was the last sport I started to cap, startedwith NFL, NBA, NCAA hoops, NCCA football, and then MLB. I also think I am real good at MMA as I follow that relgiously as well.
So if anyone is ever in Florda, let a brother know or any Chicago Cubs fans want to be bleacher bums this summer, let me know as you will see me out there a lot this summer.
I also plan on going to NY to see Citi Field and the new Yankee Stadium. A dream of mine is to watch at least one baseball game in every MLB stadium. I am lucky because I have been to the old Milwaukee park, yankee stadium, comisky, and the Astrodome.
We'll see if I get there.
I feel like I need to enclose a photo and expect some emails as I feel like I filled out a form for online dating. LOL
Well thats my boring life story.
Whoever thought of this is brilliant, because your get to learn a lot about your fellow den brothers.

good idea
thought i did this once, didn't find it though.
i'm one of the older guys here now, a young 65.
live in upstate NY and retired in 2008 from GE as a CPA. have been married since 1972, where did i fail? have been wagering on sports since 1971 and is still a true passion of mine, just baseball and football for me. do a lot of traveling now, going to aruba again in feb, truly a paradise. believe it or not, i attended UNLV for a year and a half during the tarkanian years, just a few too many distractions for me, came back home and got my degree in accounting. as you've noticed, i don't wager on a lot of games, the less vig the better for me. could go on for 2 pages...but i'm rambling now. hope to see more densters take part in this.
