Normally I look to fade fatigued arms @ this point in the season.
Guys are feeling the toll of the Innings pitched. That said,
this games starters intruiged me. Wainwright is coming off his
worst start of the year - but prior to that has been nails,
particularly on the Road where's he's 9-2. Problem here is
the St. Loius bats have not been producing for over a week.
The St. Louis starter realizes he has to be good this morning to
have any shot. Mat Latos is actually finding his groove of late.
Dealing and pitching ahead of most hitters & w/ alot of confidence.
Defense usually supports him well.. Good Pitching matchup on
a day full of mixed signals..

Kershaw might have the sickest stuff in the bigs, from either
a Right or Left hander. Fact is - hitters despise facing this horse
because he can make you look so very bad with several pitches.
Most guys are apprehensive 1st go thru, then realize this guy
is coming right after me.. HARD..Bats soon adjust to simply
make contact (please.) and not end up with a hat trick or the
dreaded Golden Sombrero. I never saw Sandy Koufax pitch but
this is as close to any of us will see of him in 2013. Sure the
game is in Colorado but thats neutralized by the fact that the
game beans are stored in a cigar humidor.. REALLY? Very rare
for me to Lay -1.5 on Anyone and on the road.. This is an
exception for a team hitting on all cycliders..Let's see if Clayton
can toss @ least 7 innings today..

I'm taking a real stab here fading probably the best
hard court tennis player of the modern era . (Sorry Roger!)..
Rafael Nadal has a propensity of mailing in matches that set
up Head to Head's with Federer. I'm banking on this fact,
forseeing Nadal to come into NY's biggest tennis stage - looking
to get by on sheer Talent. After all a straight set winner is expected right?

I like german tennis players. Especially P. Kohlschreiber ..
He has made it into the 4th round and it hasn't been a fluke.
He's playing probably the best tennis of his career.

I mean, isn't it probable that Raffy is looking ahead to his next match with Roger. Maybe.. But the last thing you want to do here is underestimate the opponent your facing. IN MLB it's comparable to a BOUNCE play. Looking for a lack of normal motivation and for the German to surprise the WORLD.. The ROI is just too good to pass up. If I lose, no suprise - I was suppose to, Right?
