My Dwight Howard and Kevin Garnett just took a dip. All the way to about -20% for the day. It looks like they're making their way back up right now but I wonder why that happened. I looked at my account and now I'm a little scared haha
right now in order to get in on the ODEN IPO. This means right now is a great time to buy shares of every other player. Those that are unable to get the IPO's are going to have that extra money sitting there tomorrow and their is going to be a lot of buying which will mean alot of splits come Tuesday morning.
If you bought 1 shair on Friday...it probably split as most did overnight. They were closed yesterday and you now have 2 shares today. If things go the way I think they will...it will probably split again Monday after close and you will have 4 shares on Tuesday.
They're pretty late for the Oden IPO. There are 6-12,000 though. Hopefully I can get my hands on the 12 I ordered. I jumped on it 30 minutes after it came out apparently, I hope that's enough time.
all shares are going down right now, because everyone is selling there shares in order to get available cash in account so they can purchase IPO's. I'm sure they will rise again soon.
I don't know if it's been this way every day, but today there was an early buying frenzy, where every player on the list was going up as fast as you could buy them. Then, there was the big early evening selloff. My account value fell $200 in 2 hours (5-7 p.m. CDT), but it's starting to come back. Maybe buying will continue until it closes in 4 hours.
Randizzle, it makes sense to me that the IPO for Oden could explain the selloff.
