Hampton the #6 Seed run included last night's win over #2 Norfolk St who went 12-4 in the regular season & in their own back yard. Hampton will be in a familiar position again, having dropped two to Delaware State during the regular season, by 3 at home & 10 on the road. In the two games during the season the Pirates had good 1st halves, leading by 9 at home & tied on the road, before Amere May took over for the Hornets, as he goes so does Delaware St. One injury for the Pirates is PG Williams out with a foot injury, which has moved May to the point. With all on the line today, i would expect students to make the 16 mile trip for the game & bring a trip to the dance for Hampton....

Hate to tell you this but we are battling on this game. Davidson comes up my top play today.

VCU to get here had to play against a pathetic George Mason, then a poor Fordham team, and then beat Richmond who they lost to twice in the regular season. Davidson had their scare yesterday by being down by 9 points at half and then came back to win by one. LaSalle was peaking at the right time and Davidson dug deep to win this game which to me show character.
