Hello everyone I'm going to be testing this system out this year. I have 8 teams that we will be tailing/fading based on projected win totals from various sources.
The top 4 teams to tail this year based on projected win totals are as follows:
1. Los Angeles Dodgers projected 93.83 wins.
2. St. Louis Cardinals projected 89.16 wins.
3. Detroit Tigers projected 88.16 wins.
4. Boston Red Sox projected 87.83 wins.
The bottom 4 teams to fade this year based on projected win totals are as follows:
1. Houston Astros 67.5 projected wins.
2. Miami Marlins 70.16 projected wins.
3. Chicago Cubs 70.83 projected wins.
4. Minnesota Twins 71.5 projected wins.
So here is how the system works. We wait for 1 of the top 4 teams to win a game then we bet on them using the following formula a-a-1/2a for me personally a=$50 so if St. Louis Cardinals win today I would bet to win $50 on their next game. If they lose I am done until they win again and I start over, if however they win game 1 I would bet to win $50 again on game 2, if they lose that one I'm done until they win another game and I start over, if however they win game 2 then I bet to win $25 on game 3 and regardless of this outcome I wait until they win again this system is designed so we can ride out those winning streaks. Now as for the losing teams that we want to fade I wait until one of them loses for example say Miami Marlins lose today I would bet to win $25 fading against Miami Marlins. I will keep track of everything in this thread.
using these top 4 rated teams and the bottom 4 rated teams as well. I have a play on Boston, Detroit, St Louis and Tampa Bay. They are my four top rated teams . I have gone back over the past few seasons and profiled them somwhat to get an idea of their streaks and such. Should they lose Im either going to straight up chase thru a c.bet or use the Labouchere, Im determining that today as we speak.
Keep me posted on what you decide to do Chris I have never tried this before myself and have never done a chase system before either. Looking to learn a lot this year and hopefully be profitable in the process any thoughts, ideas, or insight is always welcomed.
As I said earlier my 4 plays today were:
Detroit Boston Tampa St Louis
It looks like I possibly may go 3-1.
I bet to win $200.00 each. So lets say I do win $600. and my losing play (Boston) hit me for -230. Well that leaves me at +370.00 for the day. Instead of chasing Boston tomorrow. I may just squash it there and settle for $370.00 profit for my Series #1 Why risk a b & c bet and risk losing it? Before I would play the plays strictly on through and most of the time it works out but when it doesnt it sucks.
My Series#2 would start with the Thursday and Friday games. That would leave a few days of no action which is fine as long as Im winning each series. I mean its a good thing if you sweep all your a. bets. lol
Chris I sent you an email. We have no plays today for our system and we have 4 on lined up for tomorrow with a possiblity of up to 3 more games depending on what happens today! I will keep everything posted in this thread.
Ok cuz I'm posting the lines for all 5 games that fit the system tomorrow!

Thank you sir! Those are all correct. I do have a question however regarding 5Dimes what is the big difference between the regular MLB lines and the reduced lines? Last night I was told a couple of these were cheaper using one or the other method for placing a wager, now this morning when I look there is no ML on the reduced lines only RL and Totals any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think I will have enough time/resources to do this system. I realized it this weekend sorry. here are the final posted totals that it produced. While I believe this could be profitable I just have realized I cannot dedicate the time that it would need to do this system at this current time.
4 Tails
Los Angeles Dodgers 1-1 -$31.50
St. Louis Cardinals 0-2 -$100.05
Detroit Tigers 2-0 +$100
Boston Red Sox 1-1 -$25
