Going to need to check the line for BOS near game time. So far, looks like a slight move towards BOS, they could go off the favorite, or -105 / -105.

Good Luck,
Bart

Just wanted to say

Finally read through this whole thread and props to everyone who contributed, especially Matty for that ridiculous spreadsheet.

"According to the database, the record is now up to:

SU: 10-10 Avg line: +134 +$365 ROI: +18.2% "

There have been some close / questionable games, and some indoor games, but still positive.

Taking the temperature filter off, the record so far this season is 23-25 +5.89 units +12.3%

I see 3 possible plays for today:

HOU - too warm

LAD - looks like it will be in range, closer on accuweather's forecast than weather.com's, but dropping into range.

TAM - too warm

Good Luck,
Bart

I was going to ask about record

If you exclude Saturday plays, and excluded that Pittsburgh play on 4/5, according to my records since 4/3 it is 7-6, +4.4u, 36.67% ROI

LA Dodgers are today's possible play. Currently I see gametime temp of 56, but it's a long ways off so I will hold out until later to make the bet.

(consequently did anyone see a gametime temp of low 40s and raining for the seattle-toronto game?. If they do actually play that one, it's interesting info for bets)

Weather.com has 46 degrees, 20% chance of precipitation at gametime.

Accuweather has 45 degrees, 50% chance of rain between 5 and 8pm.

If LAD becomes the favorite tonight, does SF become the play, as they've become the underdog.

Shutout

Why
LAD, ATL are listed in shutout ... and thus LAD is not a PLAY?
I am using the chili dog 4-7 file.

bigdadi

I fixed that with this version. If there were no previous shutouts, it was keeping the previous day's info. It should be fixed now.

Buzzard - I was unaware of that, thanks for the info. The climate is not controlled, it's just an "umbrella" roof.

When the retractable roof at Seattle's Safeco Field is "closed" for rain [or imminent rain], the field is still "open" to wind and outside air temperature.

The latest Weather Channel forecast for tonight's game shows winds dropping from 12 to 10 mph, temps dropping from 44 to 42 degrees, and a 20% chance of rain throughout.

In this system

Toronto / Seatlle is NOT a play because of different division
