When did they change to the Red Blacks ?

After inviting suggestions from the public, the owners chose Ottawa Redblacks (in French, Rouge et Noir d'Ottawa) as the team's name. The name refers to the team's uniform colours of red, black, and white, which honour those of the earlier Ottawa Rough Riders and Renegades.
