Houston @ New York

Houston -113
Over 7 (-115)

Possible American League Cy Young winner at a good number.
Neither team "roared" into the playoff game.
Houston is a horrible road team. Keuchel on the road obviously not as good as at home where he is 15-0.
Tanaka just has not been as dominant as we've become accustomed to. He's been vulnerable to the long ball, and that's not what you want to do in the confines of Yankee Stadium.
Will this young, inexperienced Houston team wilt under the pressure of the post season, playing a game in one of baseball's most historic ballpark?
We'll find out tonight.

Food for thought

The Yankees played 7 home games this season when the total was 7 or less (as it is today) and they over cashed in 6 of those contests ,add to that ,home dogs with the total of "7" are 7-1 in MLB playoffs since 2011

Will Keuchel pitching on 3 days rest be an issue?
99 pitches on Friday night
Tanaka pitched on Wednesday night

It was Keuchel's starting with three days rest that prompted my over bet.

First of all I am a big Astros Homer but I beat with my wallet first and my heart second.

This is the first playoff appearance in 10 years for the Astros. They finished the year 19-42 in their last 61 games on the road. Their relief pitching, which was a big part to their start of the year, underperformed immensely the 2nd H. I'll take the veteran team used to the spotlight over a great home pitcher that is 3-5 on the road and starting on 3 days rest.

hope you're right ray.....i watch all the yankee games and believe me they look dreadful. how about ellsbury, 22 mill a year not in the lineup in a one and done game. that makes no sense. girardi makes these kind of moves a lot. if keuchel gets tired, hou will bring in mike fiers.
