Did you kill him? Because I don't see any reports that he's dead.

Lag. I don't know who you are, or who your sources are. But you should be very careful about divulging this information. Very few people know the true story.

I heard he died a few days ago. They don't want to sour the sport with this horrible fix. There was a screw loose in the gate. Lots of foul play. People are covering so much up here. So sad for sport. Horse in Sports Illustrated was a different horse. He is dead on ice a mile from track. That is why all prop bets on his life were taken down.

Lag - I'm not saying you are wrong, but I wouldn't be so public about bragging about having this information.

Bull

The horse--A LIVING BEING--is accustomed to racing with at least 4 weeks rest. He comes back to race two weeks after running the biggest speed figure of his life, and you could expect something to go wrong.

If NBC's constant replaying of that filly breaking down in the Breeder's Cup about ten years ago, didn't "destroy" horseracing, this certainly won't.

People that bet horses know that anything can go wrong at any time.

It Seems The Racing Form Heard Differently

Barbaro "excellent" on Wednesday

By JAY PRIVMAN
Barbaro, the Kentucky Derby winner who suffered catastrophic injuries in the Preakness Stakes on Saturday at Pimlico, was reported to be in "excellent" condition Wednesday afternoon by the George D. Widener Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine's New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, Pa.

According to Dr. Dean Richardson, the chief of surgery who operated on Barbaro on Sunday afternoon, Barbaro is stable and happy. He remains in intensive care at the hospital.

What the heck is going on here. I saw Barbaro on tv last night. He looks pretty good to me. He needs a good month of rehab before the vet will commit to him being "out of the woods" so to speak.

The point is that the race was fixed. They want this to go away. This is so corrupt. Do you actually believe that this wasn't fixed? Come on guys. That is like saying that Michael Jordan's Dad wasn't killed because of his gambling debts.

Hey Chop, Half of Pimlico Wheeled race 6 everything, and back. Most money ever bet on a horse in history of racing. Not to mention all the off shore stuff.

Is That A Surprise?

The majority of the bettors watch three horse races a year-Derby, Preakness & Belmont. After watching the way Barbaro won the Derby, who did you expect them to bet on?
