Guy needs 2 picks to make $100,000

A guy at wagerline has made 19 picks in a row and needs two more wins to grab top prize of $100,000. What would you do in his place? (like he really needs any advice.)

I'd consider selling all or part of my stake for $50,000. Maybe a sharp could step in and make the final 2 picks. Or maybe sell your spot to someone in the business like the great Wayne Root, Jim Fiest or Dave Merino.

I'm just saying that the guy has gone too far to miss out on making a bundle of cash.

I sure wish the guy all the best.

I was recently informed of that contest... I made 7 in a row and forgot to make another within the time allotted so they reset me back to zero, LOL! I've currently started another one (Carolina +2.5 was my last pick) and tonight I'm going with Nebraska -3.5 in the NCAAB.

What would I do? Hmm, since it didn't cost me anything to enter the contest, I'd probably say " B A L L S to the wall! " and I'd just go for it!! LMAO.

But more than likely... if I could find someone willing to give me an up front settlement of $25-50,000 to take over my spot... ya, I'd do that instead. (Guess my stones aren't THAT big, lol)

In case I forget to check in on the result... keep me (us) posted!

WAGERLINE?

Is that contest free to anyone? If I were that close, I would go with 2 easy wins tonight in Ohio -2.5 and I would go with Illinois +2.5

Okay...

Since it looks like we are about to have an avalanche of "Statfox"
posters preparing to join the contest "over there" lets keep each other informed on how we are doing!

Keeping your same username is the easiest way to do this, but if you do change it... let us know okay?

Later... and GLTA who attempt this "not so easy" challenge!

Sorry Statfox... I didn't start it, LOL! And you know we STILL love ya all...

hedge my second to last pick for $15,000.00, if I make it to the last pick hedge for $35,000.00, either way, win or lose I'm guarenteed some cash.

Cover the bet

I would make a 5K - 10K bet the other way with my next pick. That way if I lost I at least won that amount. If I won I would be out 11K but I could bet back 44K or so to insure my self of that amount of money. AND maybe get a spread on a game that can luck out and catch a middle. Good luck to him..

He's made 19 and he needs 21.
Used to be 20 until Claudio won $10,000. Then they moved it up to 21.

Let me get this straight... some guy named Claudio picks 20 straight and wins $10,000. So in order to make it what? More difficult? They make it so you have to pick 21 straight, but up the winnings to $100,000 ???

Hey... makes sense to me. I can hardly wait til this guy wins and they boost it to 22 straight for $200,000!! LOL!

Hedging sounds great, but it's a free contest and anybody can enter. Who knows if this guy has the means to place a bet for $15, never mind $15,000. I wonder who he's gonna find to take that bet on credit if he doesn't have $15,000 just sittin around.
