cbb syr/uconn

Syracuse heads to Connecticut tonight for their final big east matchup. (SU headed to ACC next year and Uconn is not eligible for big east tourney).

Syracuse allows 0.68 points per play in its zone defense, the lowest in D-I. Connecticut shoots less than 36 percent against zones and ranks 80th in points per play among the 88 teams with at least 300 plays.

James Southerland returned last game vs. st johns and provided a big boost with 13 points off the bench. Uconn just lost 7'1" reserve center Enosch Wolf, who was suspended indefinitely following his arrest monday for his involvement in a domestic dispute.

Beware as this is definitely a homer pick. But I really think SU will be pumped up to play this rivalry game and Southerland makes them so much better. I bought the line down as far as I could from -4.5 to -2 because I wouldn't be surprised if it was a close game.

Going with SU -2 @ -160, 800 for 500.
