I'm back now. Didn't stay in Japan as long as I wanted. I am now in South Korea. It takes awhile here to get any type of service (i.e. phone, internet, indoor plumbing...). I'm kidding about the indoor plumbing (somewhat :) )

I have gone back and looked at the last few weeks of posts that I've missed and noticed quite a few new contributors. I'm very glad to see a piqued interest in this forum for hockey.

There are quite a few people who have been doing very well....congratulations to all.

As I've said in the past...they do not play hockey in Asia. All they want to talk about is soccer and baseball. I'm doing my best to educate them on the finer points of the NHL, but I get some strange looks.

Anyway.....

LIPPSMAN - I wanted to ask you're opinion on some things.

1. Brodeur - what gives? Is he just having a bad start to the season, or is his career winding down?

2. Blackhawks and Blue Jackets - Are they as good as they seem to be, or are other teams just playing down to their level?

3. Hurricanes - Is Grahame a good enough backup to Ward to make the Canes a Stanley Cup contender this year?


I have many more questions, but I will have to do most of the research on my own (like will the Oilers ever score a PPG).


Anyway - it's good to be back with a consistent internet connection, and time permitting, I should be able to be a more regular contributor.
