NCAAF 9-03 15

Greetings & welcome to another 7 month grind. I hope everyone has a good season & l hope to improve on last season. Let's get going with one of the early kicks, in a Battle of Florida, we have dependable UCF at home against the up & coming FIU Panthers, Ron Turner is slowing turning things around here from 1-11 to 4-8. Two seasons ago UCF spanked them 38-0, now with 15 returning starters, this is a good spot to attempt to move up the food chain in Fla, UCF went 5-1 at home in the 1H, while FIU went 3-1 on the road & looking to continue last season's late season surge, back shortly as i am packing for a trip to the island tonight, let's enjoy....

the Island

here we go to the island, Duke fresh off the best 2 year run in school history open up in muggy New Orleans & will do so replacing Anthony Boone who guided those wins, along with other key postions. Last season, Duke routed Tulane 47-13. Duke ran for 256 yards and the defense intercepted four passes. Thursday's game is the fifth all-time meeting between Tulane and Duke and the series is tied, 2-2
