atl/pit - pirates favored in game 1, but Atlanta will be favored in game 2. NO PLAY

fla/was - marlins favored in game 1, nats on 8 game loss streak. NO PLAY

az/hou - dbacks favored in game 1, houston will be favored in game 2. NO PLAY

cin/lad - dodgers favored in game 1, cincy 3-7 last 10. NO PLAY

bal/bos - both teams on 3 game win streaks, can't play against either of them. NO PLAY

tb/tor - both teams on big loss streaks, tb 4, tor 9 NO PLAY

laa/tex - angels favored in game 1, Rangers have been awful against LA (17-36 overall, 9-16 in Texas) NO PLAY

kc/cws - white sox favored in game 1, royals 3-7 last 10 games NO PLAY

nyy/sea - yankees favored in game 1, and are 7-3 last 10 games so cant play against them. NO PLAY

cle/oak - indians favored in game 1, but Oakland should be favored in game 2 and/or game 3. NO PLAY

The rest are all "possible" plays.
Cubs/Phi - Cubs should be dogs for all 3 games. Despite their sub 400 records against Philly the last 3 years (7-12 overall and 3-6 in Philly), I am making the Cubs a play. The 3-6 last 3 years in Philly is too small of a sample to eliminate this play, so I used the secondary filter (adding the 7-12, 3-6, chi 8-5 road record and the reverse of Philly 6-7 home record) and got a win pct of .462 which is above the .450 cutoff. CUBS ARE A PLAY.

mil/nym - Brewers are likely dogs for the entire series, only question is Saturday's game with Sheets on the hill against Pelfrey. This one will have to wait for Saturday's odds to be posted before making them a play.

stl/sd - Cardinals will be dogs for all 3 games. Have had recent success against the Padres (9-10, 4-5 inSD). CARDINALS ARE A PLAY

det/min - Tigers are dogs for game 1, should be dogs with Durbin in game 2 and now that Bonderman will likely miss Sunday's start against Bonser, they should be dogs then as well. The Tigers lackluster performance in Minnesota (10-16) is overshadowed by their 11-5 road record this season. If Durbin is dog on Saturday, this chase is on.

Will update tomorrow morning, but will not be able to do an afternoon update as I will be out of town. These 4 plays are totally dependent on the fact that they will be dogs for Saturday as well.
