Best Prop On The Board

Looking at the magnitude the Superbowl has grown to, it comes as no surprise that teams really try to get a feel for what they can do, vs what they can't do, and the game usually starts off slowly. Do you know how long it has been since there has been a TD scored in the 1st quarter of the Superbowl? Not last year, not the year before last year, not the year before that, or the year before that, or even the year before that! Baltimore scored the last Superbowl 1st quarter TD on January 28th, 2001! There have been 5 games played since then! Well the prop line that yields a very high return is to play the 2nd half to be higher scoring than the 1st! it is available at -120, and that is a bargain. The last 8 Superbowls have had the highest scoring half be the 2nd half. The average 2nd half? 30.25 points The average 1st half? 16.25! By 14 points a game, for -120. The fact is 15 of the last 21 have played that way, and the 2nd half has played to 28.57 points per game. So play the 2nd half to be higher scoring than the 1st, and keep an eye on the 2nd half over!

I don't see how a prop on a specific player to score a touchdown should have -130 juice...doesn't seem like much value to me.

well

you only pay juice if you lose. If the high juice steers you away than the book has done their job. Personally, I think harrison will have more than 1 td which is why i like the play. I would play this up to -150.

Harrison has not had a TD in all 3 playoff games this year: in fact, in 5 regular season games against teams that would go on to make the playoffs, Harrison had only 2 TDs, both coming in a big game against the Pats

So you'd pay up to -150 for a guy that, against 'quality' teams, has only 2 TDs in 8 games?

yes i would

he is a top choice of manning in the red zone & has plays specifically designed for him. I'll take my chances (oh yeah, and he is due).

Thanks For The Kudos, Guys

But who'd a thunk the OPENING KICKOFF would keep me from having a losing day? I'd rather be lucky than good :~)
