Long Bch St vs So. Calif-NCAAB

I like Long Beach St plus 6 (and going down-some books
have 5 1/2) in this game. Reasons are first of all they have
8 seniors coming back on this team. Secondly they were
attractive to the preseason pollsters who ranked them as
high as 20-23 rd in the preseason top 25 in the nation. Their
only loss this year is to Air Force by 1 point. The LBS defense
this year has averaged forcing 21 turnovers per game so far
this year. Their offense TY has been sufficient-but has not
reached its effectiveness of last year when they led the nation
averaging 83 ppg. Still these points give you an idea of how
dangerous an underdog they are. Over the past two years
LBS is 7-0 on the road after a game where they were posted as the favorite and are 12-3 against the spread on the road against
poor 3 pt shooting teams like USC who average LESS than
32% from behind that line. LBSt is usually a very good shooting
team and this year they are shooting better on the road (44%)
than they are at home, thus far. Teams that struggle with shooting the 3 pt play have had problems when playing against
LBST. USC also is a VERY POOR 3-17 ATS play when playing
at home as a 3 to 6 point favorite. So my play tonight will be
Long Beach St plus 6 in this late night game. GL to everyone
Jdav

When I posted this game; the line was LBSt plus 6 now,
about 3 hours later the line is down to LBSt plus 5 except
at Bodog and 5 Dimes its plus 4 1/2. Alot of action on this
game it seems. GL tonight to everyone. Jdav

I can see you taking the ML if you like The Beach. The pointspread will likely not come into play, as SC usually doesn't pull out the close ones.

Good bet, dilling, I actually feel they may have the wrong
favorite in this game- and people that look for name
recognition (i.e.-big conf vs small conf team) bet into it.
The books do not care who wins remember; as long as
they balance out and draw the juice at 11/10 on heavy action.
You got a very good shot here I think. GL to you with your
play. Jdav
