Since no game.....how about a sports joke?..yea, im bored!

This is an old one but what the heck!

Sports Joke
April 25, 2003

A man was walking alone on a deserted beach and picked up a very old and tarnished lamp. When he rubbed the lamp to remove the dirt, a genie rose out of the lamp and bellowed, "You get one wish, so make it good."

The man thought for a minute and picked up a stick and started drawing what appeared to be a map in the sand. The genie asked the man what he was doing.

The man replied that it was a map of the Middle East, and that the people had been killing each other for a very long time, and he'd like to see real peace in that region.

The genie reached down with his hand, and erased the map and told the man to get real and make another wish.

The man said, "Ok, my grandmother is 94 years old and has not seen the Red Sox win the World Series since she was a little girl. I'd like to see them win the pennant before she dies."

Upon hearing the man's request, the genie picked up the stick and said, "How did that map go again?"
