social media and bigger forums have stolen the thumnder from this once thriving forum. Sad.
Cubano and Traderpro are on twitter(hi guys) Trader is a tout selling his picks now. Cant blame him. Seen a lot come and go on this site. Most fail. But some survive. Depends on how good you are.
Best I ever seen here was RD Trains. IMHO.
give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day"
Forums have been losing the better talent for at least 15 years. Doesn't help when the offshore industry isn't as accessable (esp for US peeps) and does everything it can do drive business away. Not just for sports betting, but horses and poker. Advertising dollar is now spread out over far more media platforms. The weak are gone. Others get bought out now actually fewer options. Many forums are actually made of more than one site.
Fantasy stuff is what the kids do these days.
And you now have gambling machines in every business and store front. Don't need any forum to get your groove on.
Then there's the latest, especially in Statfox, the kids that pm each other while not posting. Good stuff.
Not to mention the forums that currently pad there posting numbers with ghost handles and paid posters. lol
Covers is one of the first (mid 90's?). It's not my cup o tea but it's made it this far and is strong. There software is horrible and you can't navigate it depending on what you are using.
I was once told long ago by another forum owner Cappersmall is a kinda conglomeration of a number of forums that all show as one. It's kinda hard for me to explain.
Forumville is pretty much a thing of the past. You still got your mainstays, shut ins, Canadians, and endless touts that are gonna be swimming around.
Out with the old
In with the new
Blogs, podcasts, endless cable/radio shows, and Twitter (Jack's days are numbered) are where it's at now.
Tell/support a lie once, and all your truths become questionable.
