Buccos Wed 8/19

As you know, I don't do baseball much. Tonite, I like this one. Last nite the Bucs won a 15 inning contest against the Snakes. Their pen blew a 8-3 lead in the 8th and 9th. A couple errors helped that effort though. Arizona's bullpen pitched over 10 innings in relief. This is Zona's 'get-out-of-town' game. They travel to Cincinatti afterwards. Meanwhile the Bucs stay home for a 4 gamer with Ralph's team!

The Bucs are starting their worst starter tonite, Happ. He did put together a good game last time out vs the Mets. Ray is going for the Snakes. He is one of their worst starters also. The Bucs pitching coach, Ray Searage, has been working on Happ's delivery. The change seemed to work out against the Mets. Only one start, but definitely better.

Pittsburgh is sporting one of the better pens this year, and I'm thinking that they will close this one out tonite.

Plus, tonite there is one of best 'home' umps behind the plate.

I know better than to try totals. ha Yuk!

6 scoreless from Happ. Go figure. Whatever that pitching coach changed is sure working.
