Looks like you are in a world of hurt there MrThrifty - you are certainly not living up to your name ;) My advice would be to not use 30% of your bankroll on each bet, that would really help your longterm chances in this competition (take a look at the size of Walchiks and Friday's bets, they are much smaller).

This would be the same advice I would offer any new gambler too. Remember, this is a longterm event, not a one-night wonder. You can hit the big one, but you can lose everything too. Keep it real with good money management. I usually stick with no/very few bets beyond 7% of my bankroll and usually I do not have more than about 20% exposed at any given time on all my bets combined.
