let me help playtowin Jays,Twins,Royals
MLB – (905) BALTIMORE at (906) TORONTO 7:07 ET MASN, RSN (side and total)
How bad are things for the Blue Jays? Even with Baltimore forced to bring up a rookie pitcher in Kevin Gausman; Toronto has shrunk from a -145 money line favorite to -120. That is a sad commentary on a team which was supposed to be a strong AL East contender and instead is like the 25-year old college grad playing video games at the folks place, residing in the basement. Brandon Morrow (1-3, 5.16 ERA) will attempt to keep the Orioles in check, but good luck containing Chris Davis, who his batting .373 at the Rogers Center and has a league-leading 14 home runs. The total also fell from 9.5 to 9, but given the O’s starting pitcher, this is a difficult call. S-W Take – The slightest of leans on Toronto and Under
MLB – (903) MINNESOTA at (904) DETROIT 7:08 ET FSNO, FSD (side and total)
The Tigers Rick Porcello’s (2-2, 5.92) earned run average is nothing to brag about, but he’s been steadily improving with a 2.89 mark in his past three starts. He will face Scott Diamond (3-4, 4.99), who is hardly a diamond in the rough and contributor to Minnesota having the next to last ERA (5.69) among starting pitching staffs in baseball. Nevertheless, baseball bettors found the price of -190 on the Detroit and Porcello too risky and it has been lowered it to -174 or less. The Tigers are averaging 6.2 RPG at home, yet amazingly; Diamond has a 2.95 ERA against the Tigers and the Twins are 11-5 on the road after permitting eight or more runs. The total ended up dipping also to nine, which might be a reflection of Diamond’s success. The Twinkies eight-game losing streak has to end at some point, why not here. S-W Take – Lean with Minnesota and Over
MLB – (909) L.A. ANGELS at (910) KANSAS CITY 8:10 ET FSW, KSKC (side and total)
Ervin Santana (3-3, 2.77) will pitch against his old teammates for the first time and try and quell the Angels suddenly heavenly offense. Santana was traded to Kansas City last October and been renewed thus far, but faces a Halos batting order hotter than the pics Rihanna had for Chris Brown. The Angels have posted 37 runs during their four-game winning streak and they will presumably need a bundle again with Joe Blanton (0-7, 6.62) their starter. Santana and new friends have been taken from -150 to -130 or less, despite LA/2 being 7-14 on the road. Concerning the total, somebody believes the former Halos hurler will have a strong game and Blanton won’t be plastered, as the total has drifted south to 8.5. Santana is a perfect 8-0 UNDER this season, but the squad from Anaheim is 30-16 OVER in 2013. S-W Take – Lean Kansas City and Over
