The Memphis Grizzlies embarrassed themselves in Game 1 as their vaunted defense was taken apart like a vegetable chopper, as San Antonio shot nearly 53 percent and drained 14 three-pointers. The only good thing about a 22-point thrashing is it only counts for one loss and if Memphis can played the kind of defense we have come to expect, they can even up the series. At this juncture, nobody is predicting a Grizzlies victory, but somebody thinks they will play defense and lowered the total from 183 to 182. The Grizz usually are very defensive after a meager offensive showing and are 17-4 UNDER after totaling 85 or fewer points.
