Tell me what u think of this scenario

Hal coldvice just brought this scenario to my attention.
1000 dollar parlay gb ml over 43' pays 2030
1000 dollar parlay gb ml under 43' pasys 2030

Pretty much throwing away 1g but u don't have to pay juice.

I think you might have something...

Dr. Tony, I believe the payout would be 2030. Not 1030. Right?

so basically 2000 would payout about 2030 for GB moneyline. You would probably want to use 2 different books if you did this.

Agree with drtony. One of the parlay lose so 2030 - 1000= 1030

Risking 2000 to win 1030 if GBay wins.
Gbay ML 1400 to win 1000 sounds better.

....

Westghost, if you already wagered your $2000, there is no reason why your book should take another $1000 away from you. If you bet on both sides, you are wagering a total of $2000. And if GB wins, it pays out $2300 on 1 side. The other side is gone. It doesnt delete another $1000...

Sorry if I'm wrong, but still seems legit... If I am wrong, I will repeat this phrase over and over... "I AM WE TODD ID"

Lets say final score GBAY 20 - 17 steelers.

He buys 2 parley tickets. He spends $2000

1000 dollar parlay gb ml over 43' pays 2030
1000 dollar parlay gb ml under 43' pasys 2030

Now he won a ticket of "1000 dollar parlay gb ml under 43' pasys 2030

He is up 2030.

His other ticket "1000 dollar parlay gb ml over 43' pays 2030 " LOST

He is down 1000

2030-1000=1030 profit from those 2 tickets if score was 20-17 gbay win

If pitt wins , down 2000
