My play today is Drake -3 at Indiana State.

Drake is a team that can score points while Indiana St has struggled since the injury of D Moss. Drake has won 4 straight games over Indiana St including a 17 point win at Drake on 1/8/06, only 10 days ago. Indiana State has lost its last 6 straight Valley games and by an average of 11 points. My prediction for the final score is:

Drake 73
Indiana St 66

What is the deal with David Moss? He tore his hamstring back on Dec. 30th and they said he was going to miss 2-4 weeks. Is he definitely out for this game? Without him I don't think Indiana St has a chance here, but if he plays they are a much better team (8-1 with him). Let me know if you have heard any news.

All I have heard is that he is doubtful. Even if he does play, he will not be the same player he was as the hammy is not healing as quickly as they expected.

I just did this parlay today along with Drake straight up.

Drake -2.5
Temple +1.5

In the preseason coaches poll in the MVC, Drake was picked to finish 5th and Ind St 6th. Ind St was picked to finish that poorly with their best player David Moss in the lineup.

Drake has an RPI of 111 which is not good but Ind St has an RPI in the 160's which is downright horrible. This in a league which has 4 teams in the top 30 in RPI right now.

I like Creighton but Bradley can be tough. I think Creighton would be fine in a teaser.
