The Wings took out most of the board. I looked at that game real hard. I like to fade teams off the long road trip and when it's an opposite coast road trip I really like to do it. But when they ran the table on it that scared me off it. Sometimes it's good to be scared.

I'm not comfortable laying -175 on Buffalo after trailing Ottawa 0-5 the other night; but considering:
* Buffalo is 6-1 last 7 here vs Tampa Bay
* Buffalo has beaten TB 11 of last 12 on any ice
* TB has lost 13 of last 15 on the road; yes they beat Toronto in their last, but the Leafs have lost 6 of last 7 at home
Kolzig in net tonight, so even though he has lost 2 of last 3 here when with the caps, his long term record here is good, which just keeps this off my best bet list.

Do not be tempted to lay the 1.5 since 4 of last 6 have been one goal.
