I have not used it yet Cisco but I will! lol!

It is John Delaney's site.

Tradesports split up a bit. Tradesports used to offer trading on financials, and for some reason migrated most of the trades to this site.

I traded some DOW at Tradesports, but now you must do it at Intrade.

I was not a brilliant trader with the DOW! lol!

A little history for you...

One day, as two games thrilled me totally, I sent an e-mail asking John to contact the owners of Xodds. And then I sent one to Xodds asking them to contact Tradesports. Now Betonmarkets.

To get me more decent cheap currency wagers! lol!

These both were startups at the time, as I was ending up playing Stockgeneration, which met an untimely SEC induced death.

So thrilled by Stockgeneration I was. I decided to send both games ideas see...

Some were actually incorporated!

I did not think trading would be so tough honestly.

You can trust this site, if you can play there. Nothing at all wrong with Intrade. Not for Americans however.

Play the videos on the site.

These people, who make these things, are way smarter than I am.

Yes, I would vote them in for president! lol!

I knew the future of trading games. : )

They had to be more real than virtual stocks.

Both Betonmarkets and Tradesports evolved rather nicely!

Way back when, eons before this place, another forum existed. And where I learned to post and never shut up. lol!

I actually directed a lot of people to play both these games.

John did call me one day, quite a nice fellow. You are very safe with this place, for some reason, they split Tradesports wagers up from political and current events wagers.

Currency trading never took off on the site. I am sure it will one day.

More crazy ideas maybe??? lol!

They were both destined to succeed. I could tell all this many years ago. I was so close, to being a professional gambler. I missed by a few dollars.

Ran out of games and strong enough bankroll. Mostly games! LOL!!!

I played these games with about a 30k bankroll. It's a long story, I did ok, but food, rent and beer took most of the money...

Must prepare better next time I try! lol!

I played many more games, but these two carry a soft spot for me. : )

Cisco

Giving Bytore another trade site is like giving an alcoholic a case of Jack Daniels. We may not hear from him for a few days, LOL!

Intrade....

Lacks liquidity & spreads are too big. I like trading spiders! Don't try them if you suffer from arachnophobia!

"Lacks liquidity & spreads are too big."

I agree Greggrzy.

That is always a bug with trading. Liquidity and spreads.

Intrade did not master that part. Betonmarkets did.

Man, I was a gambler in my past. lol!

I ran simulations in Excel using $15 bets to win $500 at Xodds.

Now Betonmarkets.

http://www.betonmarkets.com/

If I remember right, these are the wager points that most emulated FOREX trading houses.

The $15 trades move almost in sync with places like http://www.forex.com/

Betonmarkets builds the liquidity, because they just bet the opposite you do!

Fading one!!! LOL!

Brilliant!

They take a cut of course, I would fear houses of gambling that do not.

I am gearing up my mind to take on Betonmarkets again. It is a fine gaming house, and very honest with traders.

Call me salty, but I do not trust FOREX gaming houses. I trust Betonmarkets.

I know of them, questioned the owners at one time to no end, searched the hell out of them, and they came up shining!

Run at one time by this French guy. I find this thread, where he is asking people good at math to run algorithms for him. To defeat gamblers!!! lol!

I can read French...

The honesty of that place has amazed me the most however.

Never will they not pay out. I consider this the most important part of life for a gambler. Will you get paid???

Both these houses pass the test. And they are built by very smart minds. : )

Intrade is not perfect, but give it time. They can adjust faster than the wind itself...

The parts you all don't know...

I was working the night shift, and came home on a fateful day. I was tired, night shift is a rough gruel.

I placed a $15 dollar bet on the DOW to tank the night before.

Xodds.

I forgot about the bet really.

I take my goodnight coffee, which is actually morning at the time, and don't ask me about coffee to help me sleep. lol!!!

It does, so there!!!

I flick on the news, and there it is. The towers are a tumbling. I am mostly in a state of shock. Who, why, what for???

I have a few sips, and think about my bet. I doubt a game would pay for that.

Sure enough, I made $500.

I was not involved!!! LOL!!!

I just learned, it is better to fade the American DOW than hold it.

At the time anyhow.

It was going down more than up.

Always do that. Fade the down side, because people get depressed trading easier than they get high.

I read that somewhere way back when! lol!!! Being a pro at getting high, it made total sense to me...

So that was my move man.

Betonmakrkets paid me. I cashed out. I never thought, because it was such an unplanned thing in all the algorithms they ran, that they would pay for the DOW falling, like this.

911. I have never truly posted where I was on that day.

I was a mind mess, but won a wager I did not like to win.

But Xodds paid. That is the power you must trust in all games.

Even a horrible day like that, rules were not changed, they paid out.

It would have been so easy for them to change the rules. All would forgive them. They did not. They followed through and paid out as promised by the game design.

Not all gambling stories are sweet. Had to be my most dark day as a gambler...
