Question about C. Michigan @ Buffalo line?

Line opend @ CM -17 72% of 3224 bets on CM yet line has dropped from -17 to -14.5 steadily. Bufflao is horrible. The Chips can't put up 3 more scores than Buffalo. Buffalo avg 17.2 points and giving up 34.2 pts. The Chips avg 27.2 and giving up 23.6 pts. So someone tell me why this line change???

maybe because CMU may not give 2 chits about this game.

THE GAME for them is 6 days later against OHIO for the MAC championship.

this road game means nothing to them.
