IIHF pick for this afternoon

Czech Republic -0.5 paying out even money at sportsbook.

I know last time I posted one of these IIHF plays we were talking about whether this is only a regulation time play or if it's for the entire game.....at my book the only choice I have is either -0.5 on the czechs or +0.5 for the swedes. It doesn't say anything about regulation or the entire game so I'm assuming it's just picking the winner.

Anyways take the Czechs to win

Yeah, that looks like a bet for the entire game, essentially the same as the ML, as most books have this game pretty close.

Pinny has them at -0.5 +145 (reg time only)

I was leaning Czechs in this one as I had them and Canada pegged in the final at the start of the playoff round, but they just haven't been strong enough for a play for me. It wouldn't surprise me either if Sweden won.

I was looking at the under 5 as well, but Sweden has been in too many unpredictable and higher scoring games in the tourney so far.

I do have a future on Canada to win it all so I'll sit back and just watch this one.

GL with your play.

Yeah I had Canada this morning at -130, ended up being close. But they pull through. I also have a parlay going with Canada and the Czechs but I took the Czechs on a seperate play as well. Should be a close game but the Czechs have too much fire power, Dipietro may have had their number last game but I don't think the Swedes will be able to compete this game. We shall see. At least Canada is moving on, I'd rather see Canada play the Swedes in the final as that would be an easier match for us but I have a feeling the Czechs take this.

Yes, the Czechs do have more fire power indeed, but the Swedes just seem to play better than their talent at these worlds.

It would be revenge for Canada if they played the Swedes after that poor effort in the round robin. That was the only game I have gotten wrong in this tournament. It's been Can-Swed the past 2 years in the final.

GL with your Czech play!!!

Czechs in OT

Czech win.

HEAVY D

You playing Canada tomorrow morning? I'm waiting for the lines to be posted, assuming the juice isn't ridiculous I think I have to put a play in on them. Czechs will definetly be tired and really they didnt even look that great, Voukun kept them in it the entire time.

Bobby,

The lines opened at Pinnacle are for regulation only so far. They will probably put the "incl OT" lines up later today:

Can -120; -0.5 +135; Over 5 +100
Cze +110; +0.5 -145; Under 5 -110

Swe -115; Over 4.5 -128
Rus +105; Under 4.5 +118

So your book will likely have Canada -0.5 about -110.

I already have a play on Canada to win the championship at +330. I got that before the elimination round, so I likely won't add too it...jush deciding if I should hedge with the Czech and bet enough to win my original bet...If I did, I basically get Canada at about +230 for tomorrow's game.

Both teams have not looked their best at times (probably expected since many of these players haven't played all year).

Brodeur is a money goalie though and I expect Canada to win...I just hope is doesn't get settled by Shootout...I'm not sure if they go to that in the finals or not.

I think Swedes will beat Russia tomorrow as well, but not sure if I will give them my money because you usually get half ass efforts in the bronze medal game.
