Astros RL is a solid play against the Seattle Mariners for several reasons. First, the Astros have been in strong form recently, winning eight of their last ten games against AL opponents, and they’ve consistently covered the run line in day games.
Mariners' offense has struggled throughout the season, ranking near the bottom in team batting average, which gives Houston an edge, especially with Yusei Kikuchi on the mound. Kikuchi has performed well, holding opponents to minimal runs in his recent starts, which I think will give Houston enough cushion to stay within 1.5 runs or even win outright. Given the Mariners' inconsistency, particularly in Wednesday games, Houston at +1.5 offers solid value.
