Looking a this spread should tell you how bad SMU has been this season. UConn only has 2 wins, but that is 2 more than SMU. It has been a historically bad season for SMU. Even some of those Mustang teams that came off the death penalty could beat this one. UConn has been anemic on offense, bu tthe defense has been respectable. It is hard to imagine SMU showing up for this game, on the road, and in the cold. We'll fade SMU on the road and look for the Huskies to win by 2 TD's

2 teams heading in different directions. The Jets are in the "suck for the duck" sweepstakes, where the Vikings show improvement each week with rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater at the helm. Neither team wows you statistically, but Minnesota does own the edge in the red zone and the kicking game. These are important since weather may be a factor in this game. The Jets lost a division heartbreaker at home on Monday night against the Dolphins. It's hard to see this team getting up on the road, out of conference, as a miserable season starts to come to a merciful end. Fade the Jets the rest of the season
