Texas St vs Illinois
PLAY ON: Texas St +14

We'll fade Illinois in this game. The Illini have been one of the bigger underachievers in recent years. They don't run the ball well, have a new QB, and aren't a very good defensive team. A team like this should not be favored by 2 TD's over anyone. Texas St is an up and coming CUSA team, that runs a spread offense. Look for this type of offense, and a decent OL, to give Illinois trouble and keep this game within 2 TD's


NFL FREE PLAY

Minnesota vs New Orleans
PLAY ON: New Orleans -10.5

2 teams in disarray at the moment. Minnesota bowed to public pressure and suspended RB Adrian Petersen indefiniately, which they should have done in the first place. Getting trounced 30-7 can change one's judgement and look the other way. The Vikings aren't very good to begin with. They aren't very good on 3rd down and don't make nearly enough plays, especially on defense. They face a Saint team that desparately needs a win after dropping the first 2. Although the defense looks bad right now, the offense with QB Drew Brees is still potent, and NO is good on 3rd down. The Vikings are in a tough spot in this one.
