A10 1/2 Wed
I don't think I've bet on these guys yet this year. Maybe early. They started really slow this year, as far as shooting percentage goes. Lately, they've picked it up. Their 3 pt shooting is still way off, but their fg% from inside the arc is now over 53% for the last 5 games. Williams has started taking it to the hoop more often. Their transition game is starting to click as well, since laying off the bombs. They are putting up a bunch of scoring streaks. 23-1 against Ohio in the 1h, (very good team), and a 11-0 run in the 2h. Opened up on a 14-0 run against E Carolina, then put a 16-0 run on them early in the 2h.
Miami-Ohio isn't noted for their defense. #330 in the nation for 2 pt and #325 for 3 pt defense. Maybe I should wait for next week, but gonna make a play on UMass tonite.
League play starts next Wed. This is the last non-conference game for most of these guys. Laying off the other games, Xavier -1'@WF, AF@Richmond -5, Penn@ Butler -21, and LaSalle@ Miami-Fla -6'. I think LaSalle can play with Miami, but they've played a pretty easy schedule so far, and they might just go to South Beach and lay an egg! Richmond is so much up and down lately. They don't guard the 3 well, and that's Air Force's strength. Xavier is all over the place. How do you lose to Wofford at home? I'd look for them to play a good one tonite, but I'm not putting money on them. Butler can name the score against Penn. Penn is without their leading scorer... has mono.
