Desperate times in this economy.......

Insurance fraud is up 43%......just watched a report on tv. People are torching things like (1) boats, (2) cars, (3) homes....in that order. Looks like job opportunities in the insurance fraud units will be on the rise. Sad state of affairs.

The other scam is "steal and dump."

Easy $.

Connections will take your car, you claim it was stolen.

On top of your Insurance covering your loss, the connection gives you 20-25% of what the car is worth.

The cars are sent to South America in most cases and as long as you don't pull it off more than once, you will be ok.
