All the favorites picked in MLB on here!

I watch day after day as favorites are pummeled here in the tournament and on alot of picks. Yesterday just about everyone was sure Oakland would win. But why take the big line. The two games prior than that I had a feeling for Detroit and bet them when they went into extra innings and just lost. I did beleive Oakland would win the game with Zito on the mound versus the single A pitcher we have been picking on most of the season. I sure would not put my real money on it. Not even my tourney money. I wonder how many of the books got most of their loses back yesterday for all of the betting against Detroit for most of the season. I know alot of people on here bet big on Oakland thinking they would not lose. So I know the books took a big bite out of the gamblers around here yesterday. All you have to do is look at the tourney leaderboard and you will see a huge difference. Plus the line started at around -340 then got up to -400. Huge gains for the books yesterday. My point is the only way I touch Detroit is to bet ON them right now not against them unless they have huge value. None of the lines right now are huge value. I know they have won people some money here but I have a feeling if you keep riding them they will bite you in the rear. It is just like betting on odds on favorites in horse racing. You can bet them all day long and they will win a majority of the time but in the end they still show a flat bet loss. Playing against detroit and playing big -230 and up lines will give you a high win percentage but I have a feeling it will be hard to keep your head above water like this. Maybe if you are VERY VERY VERY picky about who and when you bet. In my opinion if we worked together to somehow find a longshot method and have the guts to stick behind it we could do better. Betting these favorites day in and day out is going to hurt more in the long run than it will help. Ok, just my thoughts. Opinions are more than welcome. Just do not beat me to death.

BUMP

Just pushing this up to the top again so maybe a few of you might wanna look over what I posted a few days ago. Does not seem like it did very much good. I amazed nobody even reamed me out or even reply when I wrote this the first time. And look the Tigers win again. I think my buddy JustDave learned something tonight about those big favs and the MLB! Hope everyone takes this as an omen to change your ways quickly!!
