Adding

NYY ML -148 (5units) and NYY RL +105 (5units)

NYY's are a scoring machine, averaging 9 rpg on the road. Opponents 4.2.

Minn averages 3.7 rpg at home.

The Yankees are easily the best team in MLB currently. If they shore up their BP they will win it all.

And most importantly: Godzilla!

Godzilla indoors, OH MY!

Another winner taken away because I missed the deadline. I thought it was 7:00 central time... so I was thinking I had it in on time.

KC -200 3 units

First play of the day... looking at the Foxsheet... just way too one-sided to go any other way. Until the Tiggers prove they can put together 9 innings, we have to continue to cash in on them.

Picks

Oak -200 5 Units
Houston -185 5 units
Philly +100 3 units

Thanks Vig!

2-0 today. Just taking the easy winners and betting a parlay 2. Philly is tempting as a shot. Mike Hampton has lost alot and is making his first start of the season for Atlanta. He either has a great game or gets rocked. Padilla of Philly is a pretty good pitcher when he brings his A game. Ok, talked myself into it. Philly wins.

Only game I really like today is the Houston game.

Houston Astros -185 ML for 2 units.

I lean heavily towads pitchers most of the time. Today Miller's on the mound for Houston.

10-1 w/ 2.47 era vs the brew crew.

Also so an intersting trend building for the Brewers. They are 1-8 in day games and 5-3 at night. Hell if the Brewers played every game under the lights they be in the thick of things in the Central. Thats a weird stat that doesnt make much sense but who knows with these guys. They are the Brew crew, could be a bunch a party animals that need their rest and a few aleve before they can play.

Vig, you asked us about our bet size. I'm going with 2 units today because I already cashed at a good portion of the winnings and I'm starting over. I don't agree to increase bet size throughout season if things are going well. I get to a point and start over. As you saw yesterday, the bet's were a little decreased as well.

So in conclusion, I'm going with the Astros based on Millers dominance against the Brewers and their hangovers for 2 units on the moneyline.

Noticed everyone's on the A's and Royals today. Good luck with your picks. I'm hesitant about the Royals today as Knotts for the Tigers has pitched a lot better than Affelt. Still comes down to scoring runs though. This whole series should be tight.

I don't have any reason to go with or against the A's today. Good luck.

Just like yesterday, Houston should be heavier favorite than they are. Very good value in this line, IMO.

St. Louis and KC are plays based on a certain method of analyzing the data from a statistics service to which I subscribe. ;)

I liked what I saw on the Philly sheet, as well. Good chance to win and a valuable line.

best of luck to all..nef

How did I overlook the Cubbies. One more play today or Prior and the Cubbies. Chicago's knocking the cover off the ball and their man Prior is on the hill against the Buccs. This could one the Pirates patented losing streaks coming. Just like last year they got off to a great start and then hit the hall.

Pirates last 12 games 2.3 runs a game 4-8 W/L.

Chicago Cubs -171 ML for 1 unit.

Vig,

I am coming back after taking some time off to regather my thoughts after a bit of a cold spell. I like the HOUSTON ASTROS (-185) [1 unit]. I just think that they are a better team than the Brewers. I also like the CHICAGO CUBS (-171) [1 unit]. I always like very good pitchers coming off a loss against poor run support teams. Not to mention, the Cubbies score almost twice as many runs as the Pirates. In the NBA if possible, I like the DALLAS MAVERICKS (-6) [1 unit]. I think the Mavs feel like they have something to prove. The Blazers are not a stable enough team to grind it out against the Mavs. The Mavs will need to end this series as soon as possible, in order to be fresh and rested for the Sacramento Kings.

Today's picks so far:
Houston Astros (-185) [1 unit]
Chicago Cubs (-171) [1 unit]
Dallas Mavericks (-6) [1 unit]
